| Eagles give Atlanta a battle |

ARENAC EASTERN - Dec. 21, 2005 - Arenac Eastern's volleyball team took one of four games with Atlanta on Wednesday, dropping a 26-28, 20-25, 25-17, 14-25 North Star League contest.
With the game-three win the Eagles won their second game of the season, surpassing last year's total when AE was swept in all but one match.
Leading the Eagles were Nicole Marsh and Nicole Daniels with 21 assists apiece; Daniels and Jessica Seder with four digs each; and Daniels with two aces; Lindsay Nelson with three blocks.
The Eagles (0-3, 0-2 NSL) return to action Jan. 5 at Posen.
