Posen needs five to edge AE

ARENAC EASTERN - Jan. 30, 2006 - Arenac Eastern nearly came back from a two game deficit to win its first match of the season Monday, but was denied its first victory by Posen with a fifth-game loss.

The Vikings pulled out a 25-10, 25-19, 17-25, 22-25, 15-9 victory.

Leading the Eagles were Kelly Ladach with 17 assists, Sarah Harnden with three digs, three spikes and 26 assists; Nicole Marsh with three digs and 23 assists; Heather Vollmer with 24 assists; Nicole Daniels with 18 tips, five spikes, 35 assists, four kills and five saves; Carrie Fink with 16 assists; Lindsay Nelson with three aces; and Julia Altevers with five blocks and seven tips.
