Gladwin wears down Braves

GLADWIN - Mar. 6, 2006 - Pat Locey and James Suntken ignited an 8-0 Gladwin run to open the fourth quarter and the Flying G's were deadly from the free throw line to hold off a late Tawas rally as Gladwin eliminated the Braves in a Class B, District 61 semifinal Monday, 77-67.

Neither team could pull away from the other until Suntken drilled a pair of fourth-quarter treys early in the fourth quarter as Gladwin opened up a 10-point lead.

The Braves pulled within six in the final had two good looks at 3-pointers that would have cut it to three, but couldn't connect.
