- Seventh-ranked Bay City All Saints lived up to its billing Tuesday, jumping on AuGres-Sims with big innings in both ends of a doubleheader to take 11-0 and 17-2 victories over the Wolverines.
The Cougars opened the first game with a nine-run first inning to quickly settling things and coasted the rest of the way.The Wolverines managed just three hits against All Saints pitching. Geoffrey Farver took the loss for the Wolverines.
All Saints then rallied for 12 runs in the third inning of the second contest, most of them with two outs, as the Cougars' onslaught snowballed.
AGS answered with a pair of runs in the bottom of the third as Farver and Shaun Yotkois had RBI singles.
Farver and Travis Lee each had two hits for AGS. Lee took the loss on the mound.
All Saints improved to 4-0, while the Wolverines fell to 1-5.
