AuGRES-SIMS – If it seemed like the AuGres-Sims boys were in the headlines a lot this year, it was probably true.

The Wolverine boys finished off a successful 2005-6 sports season by claiming the North Star League’s all-sports trophy, given to the sports program with the highest overall finishes in league races.

The North Star League titles in baseball and boys track pushed AGS over the top. The football team finished second in the team last fall and the basketball team placed fourth.

Mio, which won the football league title, tied for second in basketball, took third in track and fourth in baseball, was the all-sports runner-up.
