OSCODA - Oct. 24, 2006 - Oscoda and Ogemaw Heights closed out their dual meet season Tuesday with the Owls handing the Falcons a 111-75 defeat. It was the final home meet for Oscoda seniors Amelia Taylor, Courtney Migan, Mariko Yamamoto and Verena Madry, and the Owls took the top finish in 10 of 12 events.

First-place finishers for the Owls included the medley relay team of Megan Stamp, Yamamoto, Brittany Lynch and Alyssa Peters; Jessica Migan in the 200-free; Becca Businski in the 200-IM; Peters in the 50-free; Erika Nolff in diving; Lynch in the 100-fly; Businski in the 100-free; Brittany Buchmann, Elisabeth Billiel, Jessica Migan and Businski in the 200-free relay; Stamp in the 100-back; and Stamp, Businski, Jessica Migan and Peters in the 400-free relay.

First-place finishers for the Falcons were Kayla Brindley (6:19.21) in the 500-free and Kate Friederichs (1:21.54) in the 100-breast.

Other top-three Oscoda finishers were Katie Killingbeck, Brittany Kasier, Billiel and Amelia Taylor in the medley relay (3rd); Brynne Raymond in the 200-free (3rd); Stamp in the 200-IM (2nd); Buchmann in the 50-free (3rd); Ashley Raush (2nd) and Kim Kaiser (3rd) in diving; Jessica Migan (2nd) and Raymond (3rd) in the 500-free; Yamamoto, Taylor, Kaiser and Killingbeck (3rd) in the 200-free relay; Taylor (3rd) in the 100-back; Peters (3rd) in the 100-breast; and Billiel, Lynch, Raymond and Buchmann (3rd) in the 400-free relay.

Other top finishers included the 200-medley relay team of Jordan Brindley, Kelsi Rutherford, Friederichs and Amber Schmitt (2nd, 2:15.79); Kayla Brindley in the 200-free (2:18.33); Autumn Gabourie in the 200-IM (3rd, 2:46.24) and 100-free (2nd, 1:07.31); Jordan Brindley in the 50-free (2nd, 28.79) and 100-back (2nd, 1:13.42); Ali Gray in the 100-fly (2nd, 1:28.65); Friederichs in the 100-free (3rd, 1:08.06); Friederichs, Gabourie, Schmitt and Kayla Brindley in the 200-free relay (2nd, 1:59.00); Rutherford in the 100-breast (2nd, 1:24.50); and the 400-free relay team of Gabourie, Tori Rabidue, Kayla Brindley and Jordan Brindley (2nd, 4:35.33).
