Gaylord 104, at Ogemaw Heights 82

OGEMAW HEIGHTS - Oct. 10, 2006 - Ogemaw Heights had the numbers, but Gaylord had the winning times at Tuesday's ISC swim meet. The Falcons fell 104-82 to the Blue Devils as Gaylord won nine of the 12 events.

Winning events for Ogemaw were Melanie Tolfree in diving (110.65 points); Jordan Brindley in the 100 back (1:13.89) and Katie Friederichs in the 100-breast (1:23.66).

The 100-breast was the Falcons' strongest event as, after Friederichs, Ogemaw took the top three spots. Kelsi Rutherford took second (1:24.79) and Amber Schmitt (3rd, 1:26.91) followed.

Other top-three finishes for the Falcons included Kayla Brindley in the 200-free (3rd, 2:21.76) and 500-free (2nd, 6:25.26); Autumn Gabourie in the 200-individual medley (3rd, 2:41.93) and 100-free (3rd, 1:04.69); Jordan Brindley in the 50-free (3rd, 28.82); Ali Gray in the 100-butterfly (3rd, 1:27.57); Tori Rabidue in the 500-free (3rd, 7:02.61); and Stephanie Gildner in the 100-back (2nd, 1:21.48).

Top relay finishers were Jordan Brindley, Rutherford, Gray and Friederichs (2nd, 2:20.09) and Andrea Montague, Eden Collins, Eagan and Micayla Morris (3rd, 2:37.44) in the 200-medley relay; Schmitt, Gabourie, Collins and Kayla Brindley in the 200-free relay (2nd, 2:03.02); and Gabourie, Kayla Brindley, Jordan Brindley and Friederichs (2nd, 4:35.31) and Gray, Rabidue, Gildner and Schmitt (3rd, 4:49.17) in the 400-free relay.
