GLADWIN - Sep. 8, 2006 - Playing games on back-to-back nights didn't suit the Ogemaw Heights boys soccer team, who were blanked 2-0 by Gladwin on Friday.
The Falcons had played Cheboygan the night before.
"The Cheboygan game was fast-paced and physical," said Ogemaw coach Jeff Young. "We didn't give up against Gladwin, but we really didn't have it. There was just no fuel left in the tank."
Gladwin scored at the 14 and 24 minute marks of the first half. The Falcons managed 13 shots, including seven on goal, while Kyle Dantzer made 11 saves.
Ogemaw dropped to 2-5 overall.
