OGEMAW HEIGHTS - Sep. 7, 2006 - Ogemaw Heights had its hands full in a non-conference soccer match Thursday against Cheboygan, dropping a 5-1 decision.
"They were a very good team, but I thought we played pretty well," said Ogemaw coach Jeff Young. "We had some chances, but couldn't get the ball in the net. We hit the crossbar, we hit the uprights, we shot it right at the keeper.
"We generated opportunities, but you have to take advantage of them with a team like that."
Cheboygan took a 3-0 lead at the half before the Falcons' Jackson Moore scored six minutes into the second half. The Falcons got no closer than 3-1 as the Chiefs finished off the game with two goals.
Kyle Dantzer had 18 saves for the Falcons (2-4).
