Outlook: The NEMC's only co-ed soccer team hopes to get off on the right track with an early win or two that could change their whole mindset.

"Sadly these days, everyone measures success in wins," says W-P coach Ed Schulte. "We have not been able to do that, but have been successful in our own way. Our kids don't step on the field each time out expecting to lose, but a win would do so much for their confidence."

Eleven players that saw significant playing time return, including goalkeeper Philip Cotoio and gritty defender Heather Popielarz.

"Our strength is staying together as a team," Schulte says. "Everyone plays well together, supporting each other. There is no quit in this team."
