TAWAS AREA (RED HAWK) - Sep. 14, 2006 - Tawas Area earned a runner-up finish at its home invitational at Red Hawk on Thursday, Sep. 14, with Rick Penman tying for medalist honors with Saginaw Nouvel's Tyler Deshone.

Penman and Deshone each carded an 18-hole score of 76. Deshone's Nouvel team won the event with a score of 322, 13 strokes better than the runner-up Braves.
