OGEMAW HEIGHTS - Oct. 25, 2006 - Pinconning stayed in the game early with a bit of long range shooting, but the Ogemaw Heights Falcons pulled away to take a 64-26 NEMC victory over the Spartans on Wednesday.
Ogemaw led 24-11 after one quarter, but 3-pointers from Jessica Vidalez and Lauren Pilot gave Pinny some offensive punch to open the game.
The Falcons went on to outscore Pinny 18-4 in the second quarter and put the game out of reach.
All but one of the Falcons scored, with Jamie Lucas leading everyone with 14 points. Renee Wangler added eight as Ogemaw improved to 9-8 (5-4 NEMC). Pilot had 10 for Pinny (0-15, 0-9).
