OGEMAW HEIGHTS - Oct. 17, 2006 - Ogemaw Heights took advantage of its free throw opportunities, and Oscoda failed to do so, as the Falcons earned a 41-27 North East Michigan Conference victory over Oscoda on Tuesday.
The Falcons made 10-of-13 free throw attempts while the owls were just 5-of-19, including two of their first 14 attempts, as the Falcons pulled away from an 18-12 halftime lead.
Alicia Brown scored a season-high 10 points for the Falcons (8-7, 4-3 NEMC). Jamie Lucas and Renee Wangler each added nine, with seven of Lucas' points coming at the free throw line.
Margaret Negro had eight and Heather Patterson seven for the Owls (2-13, 1-6).
