CHEBOYGAN - May 25, 2005 - The Tawas Area girls soccer team played its fifth one-goal game in three weeks on Wednesday, this time falling to Cheboygan, 1-0.
The game was as evenly matched as the score, with the Braves holding a 12-11 edge in shots, including 8-5 shot directly on goal. Ashley Krumm made four saves for the Braves.
Tawas (11-6) opens district tournament play at home against Garber on Tuesday, and with a win would play at Oscoda on Thursday, June 2 against the winner of Tuesday's Gladwin vs. Pinconning contest. |
