TAWAS AREA - April 21, 2005 - Tawas Area outshot Alpena 16-6 in a non-conference girls soccer contest Thursday, but it was the Wildcats who made the most of their opportunities in taking a 3-1 victory over the Braves.
"I'm confident we will work our way out of this slump and start to put more goals on the scoreboard," said Tawas coach Ken Cook.
Kadra Stec scored the Braves' lone goal with an assist from Katie Wajda. Ashley Krumm had three saves for Tawas (4-3), while Alpena's Jennifer Suszek had 15. |
