“It was another good match, though not as good as last Thursday (against Fairview),” Hale coach Kristi Benedict said. “Hitting was not where I would have liked to seen it, but we did get some good hits in.

“After losing the second game, they got their momentum back and didn't give up. They stayed fired up for the entire match. It was good to get this win.”

“Laura had a good game,” Benedict said. “(She) came through with some key blocks and her hitting has been improving. She's been keeping the ball in and not hitting the long balls like she was. Karys (McKulsky) and Andrea both had some good tips and did very well in reading the other side of the net and hitting the holes.
