| Wolverines break through with win at Hillman |

HILLMAN – Jan. 27 2005 – The AuGres-Sims volleyball team has played more than its share of close, grueling contests this season. On Thursday, they finally won one of those, taking a tough road win at Hillman 25-21, 25-22, 20-25, 27-25.
“We have been playing some really good volleyball,” AGS coach Jeri Christie said. “Our last couple of matches have been close and could have gone either way. “These girls just don't give up. They play with a lot of heart. Everyone contributes to the success of this team, and that is nice.” Leading the Wolverines were Jodi Bilacic with 5 aces and a 93 percent serve efficiency; Katie Cypher with 12 points; Tasha Dewald with 15 digs; Angela Porn with 13 kills; and Jamie Taylor with 28 assists. The Wolverines improved to 3-7-3 overall, 3-3 in North Star League play. |
