AuGRES – Feb. 3 2005 – The AuGres-Sims volleyball team moved above the break-even mark in North Star League play Thursday as the Wolverines defeated rival Arenac Eastern 25-17, 25-10, 25-17.
“We played well and stayed in control for most of the evening,” AGS coach Jeri Christie said. Leading the Wolverines (5-4 NSL, 9-9-4 overall) were Angela Porn with 4 aces; Jamie Taylor with 14 service points and 20 assists; Jodi Bilacic with 12 attacks and Tasha Dewald with 7 digs. For the Eagles (0-14, 0-9 NSL) Nicole Daniels had 20 tips; Katie Reno had 3 blocks; and Amanda Humerickhouse had 4 digs and 29 assists. |
